This position qualifies for Eskaton's health benefits package starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment and Paid Time Off benefits after 90 days of employment.

Position Overview:

The Campus Safety Officer is tasked with ensuring the overall safety of the campus. Responsibilities include conducting rounds to monitor security services, inspecting vehicles, apartments, buildings, and grounds. The officer will manage visitor and resident check-ins and check-outs at community entrances and parking areas, notify law enforcement of any suspicious activities, and provide transportation for residents within the campus. The Campus Safety Officer must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. preferred.

Training and Experience: First aid training is required. A valid California driver's license is necessary, with no more than one at-fault (preventable) accident or two moving violations in the past three years. Must be insurable by Eskaton's automobile insurance provider.

Job Knowledge: Basic safety knowledge and writing skills for record-keeping are essential.

The final candidate must successfully complete Eskaton's post-offer, pre-employment testing, which includes a criminal background check, drug test, COVID test, TB screening, and health assessment.
