Job Description

The District Sales Executive (DSE) plays a critical role in achieving the company's strategic goals by securing new customer revenue and expanding existing relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of the logistics industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a designated territory and develop a deep understanding of potential customers and competitors in this area.
  • Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Orchestrate customer and branch relationships by collaborating with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources.
  • Develop value-added solutions for customers' logistics needs, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations.
  • Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing necessary customer paperwork.
  • Attend training and development sessions to enhance selling skills and stay up-to-date on Expeditors' products and services.
  • Participate in local trade groups as directed by the District Sales Manager.
  • Take on additional assignments as required to support company needs.
Requirements:
  • Ability to meet with customers off-site on a regular basis.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
