About the Role

The University of Kentucky is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Care Manager to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the 34-bed acute care unit, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care services.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Patient Care Manager to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide resources and tools necessary for delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure exceptional patient satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a patient care management role, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
