Sales Manager Job Description

Gulph Creek Hotels is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, leisure partners, and community organizations to maximize revenue and ensure sales goals are met.
  • Attend trade shows, tourism and chamber association mixers to develop new business opportunities.
  • Utilize STS tool and property PMS systems to update and track accounts, prepare weekly reports, and analyze revenue reporting systems.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries for group room blocks and meetings, preparing proposals and contracts to secure business.
  • Collaborate with the front office team to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience, with Marriott/Hilton experience highly desired.
  • Proven success in a similar role and environment.
  • College degree, High School Diploma or GED required.
Accountability:

The Sales Manager will be accountable for maintaining a high level of professionalism, quality, and service at all times, meeting or exceeding set revenue and sales goals, and executing tasks on the annual sales and marketing plan.
