Job Summary
The Wound Ostomy RN Specialist is a registered nurse responsible for the operation of the clinical activities of the Wound Care in the inpatient setting. Under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager, this position holds responsibilities for coordination of clinical services to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds and ostomies in the inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize skills in organization, leadership, planning, implementing, evaluating and providing care of adult and geriatric clients.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, outpatient and inpatient health care professionals.
- Work within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act and follow all hospital policies and procedures.
- Comply with hospital and nursing philosophies/standards in the performance of job duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Montana Registered Nurse License.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 2 years clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- CWOCN.
- Wound care experience.
