Job Summary

Catholic Health is seeking a skilled Patient Liaison to provide exceptional patient care and support in our Bethpage hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving and directing patients, visitors, and hospital personnel, as well as providing information regarding patient location and recording messages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receives and directs patients, visitors, and hospital personnel arriving on or calling the patient care unit.
  • Provides information regarding patient location and records messages.
  • Orders and maintains supplies and equipment, and enters requests for work orders and computer issues.
  • Accurately enters and updates patient data in the computer system.
  • Performs unit errands and maintains a clean, safe, and functional working environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • Prior hospital experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
