Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all routes and scheduling of buses to ensure efficient and safe transportation of passengers
  • Counsel and coach drivers and monitors to maintain high standards of safety and customer service
  • Handle heavy phone and radio traffic to resolve issues and provide support to drivers and passengers
  • Collaborate with operations supervisors and contract managers to address scheduling and driver complaints
  • Act as primary communication liaison with major contracted customers to ensure their needs are met
  • May be responsible for handling charter reservations, billing, and driver payroll
  • Provide solutions to drop-off and pick-up problems and handle back-up driver duties as needed

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in transportation operations, dispatch, or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of radio dispatch equipment and computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
  • Previous experience in terminal operations, dispatch, or driving is a plus
