Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative is a vital member of our team at Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health). This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from registration to check-in. As a Patient Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all necessary information is collected and processed accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and register surgery patients, obtaining all necessary insurance information and signatures.
  • Verify patient insurance information and update records as needed.
  • Manage and retrieve patient history and physical (H&Ps) as required.
  • Prepare and break down patient charts, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Assist with patient pre-operative phone calls and surgery scheduling.
  • Monitor and manage fax machine for filing operative reports and pathology reports.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure a smooth surgical experience.
  • Report occurrences and incidents through our established reporting process.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, participating in continuing education and skill development opportunities.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
  • Customer service experience and administrative or medical office experience preferred.
  • Current certification in basic CPR for Healthcare Professionals (BLS) or completed upon hire.

  • Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
