Restaurant Operations Manager

Fogo de Chão is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant operations. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Restaurant Leadership: Oversee Restaurant Leaders (Front of House and Heart of House Managers) and restaurant Office Assistant to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Talent Development: Attract, develop, and retain restaurant leadership to drive business success.
- Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the restaurant to meet customer demand.
- Guest Experience: Partner with Sales Manager to grow group dining sales revenues, execute events, and monitor staff and yield for optimal results.
- Training and Development: Execute the Manager in Development Program for new managers in training.
- Communication: Partner with Talent Acquisition to communicate promotion opportunities and offer letters.
- Quality and Consistency: Ensure guest satisfaction and brand consistency in quality of service and product.
- Performance Monitoring: Review Guest Sentiment, determine trends, identify gaps, and create improvement plans.
- Revenue Growth: Achieve revenue targets and monitor key plan drivers by forecasting and filling revenue gaps.
- Industry Trends: Recognize local and industry dining trends to inform business decisions.
- Operational Excellence: Responsible for full restaurant operational and financial success.
- Facilities Maintenance: Participate in Facilities Maintenance program by evaluating and submitting repair and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Financial Performance: Achieve annual EBITDA targets.
- Employee and Guest Safety: Ensure Guest and employee safety.
- Experience: 5 years restaurant operations, and 3 years churrasco and churrascaria cuisine knowledge preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. Combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Skills: Proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
- Travel: Occasional travel required.
