We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our customers by providing exceptional technical support and expertise. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to debug and reproduce problem reports, and escalate issues as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support and expertise to customers, including debugging and reproducing problem reports.
  • Collaborating with engineering and product teams to resolve issues and improve our platform.
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge base articles to enable customers to quickly resolve problems.
  • Participating in a rotation to ensure 24x7 coverage for emergencies.
  • Working with engineering to communicate incident status to customers and participate in root cause analysis.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical support engineering or software engineering roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Broad technical understanding of mobile devices, cloud computing, and networking.
  • Detailed technical understanding in one of the following areas: MongoDB, SQL, Cloud computing, or Distributed databases.
