Job Overview

This role serves as a vital link between clients, suppliers, sales teams, and production staff to ensure a smooth, prompt, and precise order fulfillment process while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage incoming calls and route them to the appropriate departments.
  2. Coordinate with Contract Haulers to assign delivery tasks as necessary.
  3. Oversee dispatch operations to achieve optimal customer service levels, utilizing both company vehicles and contracted carriers.
  4. Prepare and manage pick tickets and delivery documentation, ensuring accurate tracking of inventory.
  5. Scan and organize completed delivery documentation, maintaining an orderly filing system.
  6. Provide comprehensive customer support, addressing inquiries regarding shipments and order statuses.
  7. Process orders via phone or fax for various products.
  8. Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate submission of time records.
  9. Work closely with sales teams to enhance delivery performance and exceed client expectations.
  10. Manage inventory of office and safety supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  11. Assist in the procurement of raw materials and other necessary supplies.
  12. Conduct inventory reconciliations as required.
  13. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. Experience in dispatching or customer service within the construction materials sector is preferred. Candidates should be self-driven and adaptable to a dynamic work environment. Adherence to safety protocols and the ability to follow directives is essential.
