Job Title: DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Better Hire. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting high-performance cloud-based applications.

About the Job

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of our production systems and web applications. You will work closely with our software engineers, QA engineers, and infrastructure engineers to integrate software development and delivery from inception to full operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and maintain high-performance cloud-based applications using cloud native technologies such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Manage Azure operations, including implementing Azure infrastructure using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, scripting, and other automated provisioning techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software development and delivery.
  • Ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of production systems and web applications.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate deployment and delivery processes.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud native technologies, including Microsoft Azure.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud environment deployment and delivery.
  • Proficiency in Windows systems and Linux systems.
  • Strong scripting skills, including bash, PowerShell, C#/.NET, and NodeJS.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
