Job Summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Java Developer to join our team of experts in designing, building, and delivering greenfield projects for the retail sector. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex technology challenges and lead our growing organization and client-base to continued scalable, sustainable success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software modules
  • Use AWS or Azure APIs to create cloud native software solutions
  • Create automated unit and integration tests
  • Create detailed architectural plans to fit client requirements, and lead build and implementation efforts through to delivery
  • Work as part of a highly collaborative agile team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or other relevant degree
  • 7+ years of AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud development experience in Java and Spring Boot
  • 5+ years of experience and regular use of SQL
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing SQL and NoSQL data models
  • Demonstrated ability to design and build end-to-end cloud native solutions
  • Expert-level understanding of design patterns and algorithmic concepts and software engineering best practices
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.)
