As an AWS Cloud Developer at Sunrise Systems Inc, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and upkeep of scalable cloud-native software applications utilizing the AWS platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust cloud solutions on AWS.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams in a SCRUM Agile setting to deliver high-quality software that aligns with business goals.
  • Leverage existing APIs and web services to enhance the modernization of the Criminal Justice Exchange Program.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience with XML, XSD, WSDL, and associated technologies.
  • Proven background as a software developer with a solid grasp of cloud computing principles.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
  • Proficiency in Python; knowledge of additional programming languages is advantageous.
  • Experience with AWS Step Functions and State Machines is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the SCRUM framework.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer) are beneficial.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
