Resident Service Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Resident Service Coordinator to join our team at the Gene B. Glick Company, Inc. This role requires a strong commitment to supporting the needs of our elderly residents and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Case Management:
- Develop and implement individually tailored case plans for services and periodic re-assessments of residents' situations.
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, goals, and desired outcomes.
- Follow up on resident lease violations and work proactively to reduce the number of notices that lead to evictions.
- Resident Programming and Engagement:
- Work with the property manager and regional manager to ensure services are consistent with the resident services plan and meet Glick's service standards.
- Facilitate and implement core programs as assigned by the program model and site-specific resident services plan.
- Develop and implement ongoing resident engagement activities, including connecting with residents to understand their needs, building relationships, fostering community, and encouraging participation in activities and services.
- Oversee the development and implementation of regular onsite programs that meet specific targeted residents' needs and enhance their overall quality of life.
- Develop strong relationships with community-based organizations and providers for referrals and onsite services.
- Accurately collect and record data to measure resident and program outcomes.
- Supporting Resident Basic Needs:
- Establish and maintain community-based partnerships supporting food access, rental and utility assistance, and general eviction prevention.
- Administrative:
- Manage RSC tenant relations and training expenses to ensure expenses are reasonable, allowable, and funds are expended in a timely manner.
- Complete, review, and submit reports on a timely basis and as requested.
- Create a monthly calendar of events and community newsletter.
- Meet regularly with onsite property manager and attend regularly offered training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology, Counseling, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in social service delivery.
- Experience with PC-based word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and provide results for the population(s) served.
- Able to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
- Fluency in Spanish a plus.
