Patient Service Representative

At Community Health Network, we are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Check patients in for appointments and collect patient payments
- Answer telephones, take accurate messages, and schedule appointments
- Coordinate referrals and check insurance eligibility
- Utilize electronic medical records to verify and update patient demographic information and post and balance payments collected
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment or 2 years of customer service experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Intranet and Internet usage, Excel, Word, email, and web-based applications
