Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Specialist to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for applying standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment to optimize manufacturing processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Conduct system analysis to determine workflow bottlenecks and develop strategies to improve process flow.
  • Map batching processes and conduct time retention studies to identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate batch and thermal equipment performance and root cause of production stoppages.
  • Standardize batching practices and batching recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Monitor and analyze batch and thermal data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Test and validate changes to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Document changes and seek professional advice when required.
  • Conduct process batch and thermal audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Implement lean principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Create job aids, policies, and SOPs as required to support manufacturing processes.
  • Travel to plant sites to conduct audits and provide technical support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a similar role or position.
  • Experience managing people and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in collaborative group environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a similar role or position.
  • Experience managing people and projects.
