About the Role

Niagara Bottling is seeking a highly skilled Data Acquisition Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data acquisition systems to support our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Warehouse Design: Design and implement data warehouses to store and analyze data from various internal and external sources.
  • Data Modeling: Create data models to store and access data for reporting, analysis, and machine learning.
  • Process Automation: Develop and implement process automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Condition-Based Maintenance: Implement condition-based maintenance programs to predict and prevent equipment failures.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision making.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in industrial automation, data engineering, or related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in query languages (SQL, Java Script, Python), communication protocols (ModBus, TCP/IP, APIs), and data acquisition tools (PLC/SCADA systems).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Additional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in industrial automation, data science, or related field.
