We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our Product Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept to implementation, driving innovation and excellence in our beverage manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee activities in the New Product Development (NPD) process, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables and successful New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
- Packaging/Process Engineering: Lead technical scoping with internal and external teams, collaborate with Packaging Design & Engineering teams to design, develop, and prototype customer packaging solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and participate in training opportunities to improve technical acumen, participate in continuous improvement initiatives to refine department's processes and procedures.
- Experience: 0-2 years in Beverage Manufacturing, CPG, or related industries; or 2-4 years in Product Engineering or related field.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Product Design, Business, or related fields; or Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, Product Design.
- Skills: Basic understanding of NPD processes, knowledge of beverage manufacturing and plastic injection and blow molding technologies, critical thinking and quantitative analysis skills, strong organization, communication, and attention to detail skills.
