Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Kellogg Supply, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory, building strong relationships with customers, and providing market insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Growth and Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth within assigned territory, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including store managers, district managers, and other key stakeholders, to ensure excellent customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Market Insights and Analysis: Provide market insights and analysis to inform business decisions, including competitor analysis, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and drive business results.
Requirements
  • 2+ Years of Sales Experience: Proven sales experience in a related industry, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer relationship development.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Market Knowledge and Analysis: Strong understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs, with the ability to provide market insights and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the lawn and garden or home improvement industry, with a strong understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 50% overnight travel, including customer or industry events, mandatory semi-annual attendance and participation in corporate sales meetings, and territories in other markets outside of assigned territory.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, and ability to lift and stock heavy objects weighing 50lbs or more and use pallet jacks moving pallets weighing 3000lbs or more.
