We are seeking a highly motivated Care Specialist to join our team at Communicare, a community mental health center in North Central Mississippi. As a Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing direct care services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities- Provide daily living support to individuals with ID/DD, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to enhance social skills, adaptive behaviors, and community integration.
- Collaborate with the Communicare Treatment Team to ensure comprehensive care and support for individuals served.
- Maintain accurate records of service delivery and client progress.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Certified in CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training or willing to complete certification.
- Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and an insurable driving record.
- Competitive hourly rate: $11 per hour.
