Skull Base Specialist in Neurosurgical Advancements

We are seeking an exceptional Skull Base Specialist in Neurosurgical Advancements to join our esteemed Transformation Unit at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a highly competitive 12-month fixed-term position, with on-call commitments, offering the opportunity to further sub-specialise in Skull Base Neurosurgery. Our unit provides a dynamic environment for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide 16-32 hours of general neurosurgery on-call cover per week, working closely with our skilled Skull Base Surgery neurosurgeons based at John Radcliffe Hospital.
- To access two full-day elective operating lists per week, plus emergency operating as relevant to training, ensuring optimal patient care.
- To participate in a full shift rota, including allocated study leave and rest periods, fostering a healthy work-life balance.
Requirements:
- GMC Registration
- FRCS or equivalent qualification
- Higher Medical Degree / FRCS (SN)
