Full-Time Position:

Schedule: Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend shifts)

Working Hours: Starting at 5 AM until all routes are completed.

Compensation:
CDL A: $28/hour
CDL B: $25/hour

Position Overview

As a Security Transport Operator, you will collaborate with your team to guarantee the secure collection and delivery of cash, coins, and other valuables.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate automatic armored vehicles and other designated vehicles along specified routes to service client locations.

• Maintain and service ATMs and Smart Safes.

• Conduct customer stops, including delivering change orders and collecting deposits.

• Load and unload vehicle cargo, which may include multiple bags and boxes of coins.

• Accurately count items, document, and sign for cargo.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required.

• Ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate through a US Department of Transportation approved medical examiner.

• A valid firearms permit or the ability to meet applicable firearms requirements may be necessary.

**Loomis will cover the costs for security and firearms training, licensing, and permits.

Work Environment

• Full-time schedule averaging 40 to 50 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 days within a 6-day work period. Weekend work may be required occasionally.

• Approximately 90-95% of work is performed in climate-controlled vehicles within individual compartments (front and rear).

Essential Duties/Job Qualifications
As part of the qualification process for the Security Transport Operator role, candidates must successfully complete a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE), which includes testing in the following areas:

• Lift: 25 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 66 inches from the floor (1X)

• Lift-Carry: 18 lbs vertical lift from 1 inch to 44 inches from the floor, and horizontally transfer 15 ft (4X); 18 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 300 ft (1X); 50 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 2 ft (2X)

• Push-Pull: Horizontally transfer 47 lbs of force on a sled (single, non-dominant arm), a distance of 1 ft (2X)

• Repetitive Coupling: Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30 lbs / both right & left hands (4X)

• Climb: Ascend/Descend a step with heights of 24 inches from the floor (10X)
