As a Route Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of secured transportation employees and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of cash and other valuables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of secured transportation employees to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and schedule armored and ATM routes to meet customer requirements and assist with route adjustments as needed.
  • Assign vehicles to designated routes and maintain contact with the vehicle services department.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Complete daily billing and route productivity reports, and assist with payroll, incentives, and worker's compensation reports.
  • Order uniforms and supplies, and maintain branch security during operating hours.
  • Implement security measures to reduce risk exposure and ensure compliance with security procedures.
  • Assist with the training and onboarding of new employees, and monitor branch cleanliness.
  • Report any violations of company rules and policies, and fill in on armored and/or ATM routes as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of appearance and professionalism when interacting with subordinates and customers.
  • Travel to other locations as required to support temporary duties.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in transportation or a related logistics field.
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain local and state permits or licenses to carry a sidearm, and any other state required guard licensing.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, and may require a Commercial Driver's License with no air-brake restrictions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven track record of engaging workgroups to accomplish assigned tasks through clear oral and written instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Knowledge of the Driver's Guide to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs), and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Pocketbook.
