We are currently in search of a Lead Salesforce Engineer to become a vital part of our team. The successful candidate will embrace the challenge of managing our development pipeline and establishing best practices for optimal performance. This role entails the creation and support of Lightning components, Visualforce pages, custom applications, data structures, and integrations with third-party systems utilizing our middleware solution. As a Lead Salesforce Engineer, you will spearhead complex projects, leveraging your expertise to drive success while collaborating closely with our stakeholders and Salesforce team to enhance our Salesforce environment.

Travel Requirements: 100% on-site, with a hybrid option available after a designated period of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce team and management to devise development solutions and strategic direction.
  • Work alongside Technology and Salesforce teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Create and maintain Lightning Components and Visualforce pages.
  • Oversee deployments between sandbox and production environments.
  • Utilize Salesforce integration patterns, best practices, and capabilities, including APIs, security, authentication, and SSO, in Salesforce applications.
  • Design and develop processes, flows, workflows, business processes, Apex classes, controller classes, and Apex triggers to meet various functional requirements.
  • Provide guidance to administrative staff as needed.
  • Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Understand business requirements and considerations, developing, validating, and documenting processes for the organization.
  • Offer training and support to users.
  • Manage release cycles for implementing and deploying new updates to existing applications and code.
  • Integrate and maintain business applications within our organization, such as DocuSign, Accounting Seed, FlowGear, Workato, etc.
  • Collaborate with company leadership and operations to integrate solutions.
  • Stay informed about Salesforce best practices and new features.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Salesforce Advanced Developer certification is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience in Salesforce administration and configuration.
  • Experience in Sales or Service Clouds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Primary work location in Omaha, NE, or other Alff US office locations.
  • Industry-related work experience is a plus.
  • Team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Experience in data visualization is preferred.
  • Experience in finance processes and software is a plus.
