About the Role

The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Radiologist to join our team in a Body Imaging Specialist role. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for interpreting medical imaging exams, including MRI scans, to diagnose and treat a range of conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret general radiology examinations, including plain film and CT scans
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic fluoroscopic studies
  • Interpret MRI examinations of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis, including prostate MRI scans
  • Interpret general, vascular, small parts, and soft tissue ultrasound examinations
  • Participate in the development of new protocols and imaging techniques
  • Generate reports that contain pertinent findings and measurements
  • Communicate critical findings to healthcare teams
  • Participate in quality management activities, such as film quality review and peer review
  • Teach students and residents
  • Participate in research programs
Requirements
  • One full and unrestricted license from any US State
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work variable shifts and travel between campuses
