Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring the highest level of productivity in the most cost-efficient manner possible while maintaining customer specifications. The Production Supervisor will oversee the night shift operations, ensuring all procedures are followed and reporting requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity performance.
  • Plan and schedule manpower, materials, and product to effectively utilize departmental policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee performance, providing feedback and coaching.
  • Promote department and company goodwill through proactive communication and employee involvement.
  • Investigate areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, and method improvement.
  • Promote safety throughout the work area.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Poultry or food industry experience preferred.
  • Leadership skills with 20+ employees.
  • Effective communication and decision-making skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Ability to work assigned hours/days, including occasional weekends.
Education

High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in a related field preferred.
