Job Summary:
The Oncology Territory Manager plays a critical role in representing Daiichi Sankyo's oncology products to healthcare professionals in assigned sales territories. This position requires a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Daiichi Sankyo's oncology products to healthcare professionals in assigned sales territories.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to achieve sales objectives.
- Apply knowledge of the healthcare industry, market trends, and regulatory requirements to drive business growth.
- Analyze customer needs and interests, territory performance, and business trends to optimize commercial potential.
- Maintain expert understanding of relevant disease states, Daiichi Sankyo brands, and competitor products.
- Communicate effectively with District Manager, internal and co-promote peers, and discuss issues and opportunities.
- Build relationships with Daiichi Sankyo's customer base and key opinion leaders.
- Meet all administrative expectations and standards, including budgets, reporting, and communication.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- 4 or more years of sales/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry.
- 4 or more years of oncology therapeutic experience strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel approximately 40% to 60%.
What We Offer:
Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. offers a competitive compensation package, including a targeted base salary range of $170,000 - $190,000, sales incentive, and long-term incentive based on performance. This position is also eligible for a company vehicle and comprehensive health care benefits at a reasonable cost.
