Job Summary

The Oncology Territory Manager will represent Daiichi Sankyo to assigned customers, promoting our innovative oncology products and providing expert disease state and product information to healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, trends, and market conditions, as well as excellent communication and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Daiichi Sankyo products to healthcare professionals in assigned sales territory.
  • Achieve or exceed sales objectives through promotion of product features and benefits.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to optimize commercial potential.
  • Analyze customer needs and interests, territory performance, and business trends to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain expert understanding of relevant disease states, Daiichi Sankyo brands, and competitor products.
  • Communicate regularly with District Manager and internal peers to discuss issues and opportunities.
  • Build relationships with Daiichi Sankyo customer base and key opinion leaders.
  • Meet administrative expectations, including budgets, reporting, and communication.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 4 or more years of sales/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry.
  • 4 or more years of oncology therapeutic experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40% to 60%.
