New Vehicle Sales Performance Lead

Future Ford of Sacramento is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Assistant Manager to join our team. As a senior sales professional, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, training and mentoring our sales team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals and providing top-notch customer service. A valid driver's license, valid sales license, and positive attitude are essential requirements for this position.
The salary for this role is approximately $7,350 per month, based on industry standards and market conditions in Northern California. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will also be eligible for substantial bonus opportunities based on your performance and the success of our sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in hiring, training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring the performance of all new- and used-vehicle sales personnel.
- Direct and schedule the activities of all department employees, ensuring proper staffing at all times.
- Develop the sales department budget and minimize expenses.
- Forecast aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives for the department and for individual salespeople and provide them with the support to meet these goals.
- Develop improvement programs for salespeople who are having difficulty reaching their objectives.
- Ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed by salespeople.
- Help the sales manager maintain a balanced inventory based on customer and market statistics.
- Assist salespeople in closing deals when necessary.
- Share responsibility with the sales manager for planning and leading sales meetings.
- Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect vehicle sales.
- Strive for harmony and teamwork with all other departments.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Attend managers meetings as requested.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Customer service experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Valid sales license.
- Positive attitude and demeanor.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
- Strong focus and desire to achieve sales goals.
- Applicable manufacturers certifications.
- Ability to comply with all Dealership policies, procedures, standards, and deadlines.
