Job Title: District Sales Manager

As a District Sales Manager at US Foods, you will be responsible for leading a team of Territory Managers in the sales of our products and services. Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth and achieve sales objectives within your district.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Territory Managers to achieve sales, penetration, and churn reduction objectives
  • Develop and maintain long and short-range sales plans, and coach and develop Territory Managers to achieve AOP and Company goals
  • Direct Territory Managers towards high-quality leads and assist in warming leads and closing
  • Submit and administer annual street sales operating plans and operating budgets
  • Assist in coordinating product cuttings and demonstrations, and develop sales and marketing strategies for customers
  • Communicate sales data to contribute to product/service planning, and assist in planning district sales meetings and events
  • Understand and utilize Sales Foundations tools and processes to grow sales and maintain customer service standards
  • Recruit, train, and mentor new hires and existing Territory Managers
  • Oversee, manage, and assess Territory Manager performance to plan regularly
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of foodservice sales experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service, and presentation abilities
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office products
Compensation and Benefits:

The expected compensation for this role in Minnesota is between $85,100 and $113,400, with opportunities for overtime compensation, commissions, and benefits including health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, and more.
