Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will play a critical role in the assembly and service of gas turbine rotors. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the production of high-quality components while maintaining the highest level of efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Design, develop, and implement custom tools, jigs, and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
- Work closely with design engineering to resolve product deviations and ensure compliance with Siemens Energy standards.
- Develop and deliver technical information documents, estimates, reports, and training documentation.
- Partner with Service Engineering to provide inspection and repair reports for customers.
- Identify and justify projects for improving manufacturing capability, yields, productivity, and capacity using Lean Principles.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or associates degree with direct experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment involving mechanical assembly and tensioning, with spindle balancing and large lathe experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of PC applications, MS Office, CAD/NX software.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Exposure to lean concepts, MRP systems, quality control systems.
- Prior or current experience with Siemens Energy's customers, equipment, and processes a plus.
