Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining standard work, developing and improving manufacturing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective production methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to improve manufacturability and eliminate process inefficiencies.
- Analyze manufacturing process flows to enhance quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
- Collaborate with configuration control and design engineering to ensure effective production methods.
- Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange equipment, parts, or material purchase.
- Work closely with production to develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees.
- Design and develop manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, and new products.
- Proactively eliminate EHS hazards and ensure work areas are safe at all times.
- Lead Kaizen teams and understand lean principles and systems thinking.
Requirements:
- Associate degree with 3+ years of experience in a technical discipline.
- Advanced degree in a technical field is highly desired.
- Prior experience within a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 3 years.
- Past work experience as a manufacturing engineer in an HVAC environment is desired.
