Job Description

The purpose of the Healthcare Integration Developer is to assist in all aspects of delivering RamSoft solutions to customers, including customer communication, requirements analysis, integration development, integration testing, and configuration.

This role reports to the Director of Customer Onboarding and is an individual contributor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the integration of products using Java, XML, SQL, and the HL7 Standard and FHIR.
  • Conduct all system testing, configuration, and verification to hand off to the end user/Implementation Team.
  • Work with the Support Team to assist with integration issues, guiding them through corrective steps, and escalating issues to the team lead when unresolved.
  • Collaborate with Implementation Managers to deliver interfaces on time for customers.
  • Actively investigate customer issues and provide solutions by following troubleshooting guides, accessing knowledge bases, and researching answers.
  • Partner with R&D to enhance product features and performance specifications.
  • Participate in a weekly rotation for on-call support (average less than 2 calls per week).
  • Participate in weekly team meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of JavaScript and SQL.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP with a demonstrated ability to perform basic trouble-shooting tasks using the command prompt.
  • Knowledge of database engines such as Firebird or Microsoft SQL server.
  • High level of communication skills, written and verbal, is required to interact with internal and external personnel.
  • Ability to analyze data for root cause determination, brainstorm for resolutions while identifying potential risks, formulate plans, and execute agreed-upon action.
  • Passion for software development, with a willingness and drive to learn, perform, and achieve.
  • Ability to think analytically, logically, and abstractly (outside the box).
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and be proactive in taking on assignments and responsibilities.
  • Enthusiastic attitude, strong work ethic, and aptitude to work in a team capacity is essential.
  • Experience in the Healthcare systems industry is preferred.
