Job Summary

Liberty Healthcare Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to support the organization's mental health programs at the West Valley Detention Center. As a key member of the leadership team, this professional will be responsible for promoting a positive workplace culture, championing diversity and inclusion, and ensuring compliance with California employment law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR guidance to leadership and management teams
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support business objectives
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
  • Coordinate recruitment and hiring activities, including interviewing and onboarding
  • Administer employee benefits, timekeeping, and payroll
  • Conduct investigations and risk management activities
  • Partner with corporate HR, recruiting, legal, and payroll professionals

Requirements

  • At least five years of human resources experience, including most of the responsibilities listed above
  • Knowledge of California employment law and HR information systems (ideally UKG)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred
