Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Manager to lead our team of Integration/Interoperability Engineers. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving system-to-system integrations and real-time interoperability with external EMRs and health systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce team documentation and process design artifacts.
  • Assign work based on priorities and manage sprints and workflows.
  • Manage timelines based on project complexity.
  • Establish relationships with IEHP peers and external partners to improve integration processes.
  • Negotiate new file layouts and communicate data impact to IT leadership and clients.
  • Communicate effectively to obtain collaboration between parties to create efficient processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in key business projects and complex integrations.
  • Own projects from request to go-live.
  • Own data quality assurance, including scoping and communicating the need for new data quality reporting.
  • Deliver reliable and effective integration solutions based on business requirements.
  • Keep up to date interfaces for all data exchange methodologies.
  • Lead the design and development of various application integrations.
  • Implement integration with legacy applications or COTS via APIs, events, or batch.
  • Evaluate existing application integration solutions and recommend improvements.
  • Orchestrate data pipelines that meet security standards and ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Ensure all integration solutions meet company and performance requirements.
  • Provide detailed analysis of data issues, data mapping, and process for automation and enhancement of data quality.
  • Analyze and integrate new technologies with existing applications to improve design and functionality.
  • Recommend next-generation data integration tools and frameworks required by the SMART Platform and Applications.
  • Provide on-call support for production performance/availability or other critical issues.
  • Stay up to date on interoperability concepts and standards.
  • Conduct code reviews.
  • Direct, train, and mentor staff.
  • Clearly and regularly communicate with management and other business units.

Qualifications

We require a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering, from an accredited institution. Additionally, we seek candidates with 10 years of total experience in ETL and data integration, database technologies, middleware components, interface engines, database design concepts, distributed data architecture, and API and Web Services.
