Role Overview

As a Senior Housekeeping Specialist, you will play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in our properties. Your dedication will ensure that our guests enjoy a pristine environment, contributing to their memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean and maintain Vacasa properties, adhering to established cleaning protocols and standards.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and homeowners by ensuring all spaces are immaculate.
  • Identify and report any damages, generating maintenance requests as needed.
  • Provide mentorship and training to new and existing housekeeping staff.
  • Conduct inspections of completed cleaning tasks to ensure quality.
  • Perform additional cleaning as required.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with team members and management.
  • Assist colleagues and management as necessary.
  • Cover for management and co-senior housekeeping staff when required.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in all areas.
  • Meet and maintain established housekeeping performance metrics.
  • Participate in mandatory team meetings.
  • Restock consumable supplies such as toiletries and paper products.
  • Maintain hot tubs as needed, with training provided.
  • Adapt to various responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
  • Exemplary reliability and responsiveness.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred, but training is available.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Comfortable using computers and smart devices for daily tasks.
