The Administrative Operations Supervisor oversees the management and coordination of essential office functions, including light Human Resource administration and relevant union duties where applicable. Key Responsibilities
• Oversees and ensures the accurate disbursement of payroll, benefits, and taxes in compliance with governmental wage and hour regulations.
• Guarantees the precise and timely processing of new hires, temporary staff, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Actively communicates with Operations, Human Resources, and Billing departments to assess cross-departmental impacts and reconciles data sharing.
• Leads the regular preparation of essential management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end summaries.
• Responsible for the management of all accounting systems and records, encompassing cash receipts, expenditures, investments, purchasing, inventory, assets, and payroll.
• Ensures that written performance evaluations for supervised staff are completed as required, providing ongoing feedback on personnel performance issues, and taking immediate action to recognize achievements and address deficiencies.
• Cultivates a work culture that encourages open, frequent, and dynamic communication among staff, fostering teamwork to achieve desired goals and objectives.
• Meets deadlines for financial documentation.
• Reconciles bank accounts and verifies bank balances with the general ledger.
• Supervises all month-end and year-end accounting processes, including the preparation and entry of journal entries for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger systems.

Qualifications
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and payroll is required.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Experience managing in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
