Michaels is a leading arts and crafts retailer that provides a wide range of creative products and services to customers. As a Framing Department Manager, you will play a key role in driving custom framing sales and delivering high-quality framing solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of framers to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive custom framing sales and increase customer engagement.
- Assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art, including selecting frames, mats, and other embellishments.
- Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Participate in performance management activities, including interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of company programs and policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous retail management experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
- Previous custom framing experience or experience leading a sales team a plus.
