About this Role:

Clarvida - Colorado is seeking a skilled Therapeutic Family Time Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with families involved in the child welfare system who have experienced the removal of their children due to concerns of abuse and/or neglect.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess the family's needs and develop ongoing goals with them and their professional team. You will also provide psychoeducation and in-the-moment parent coaching and redirection to help families learn new ways of relating to each other.

Using a trauma-informed lens, you will work with families in their homes, our offices, or in the community to provide support and guidance. Your ultimate goal will be to facilitate the safe and successful return of a child to their home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess family needs and develop ongoing goals with the family and their professional team
  • Provide psychoeducation and in-the-moment parent coaching and redirection
  • Work with families in their homes, our offices, or in the community
  • Testify in court as needed
  • Provide accurate documentation and report any abuse/neglect concerns
  • Provide transportation as required
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a Human Services field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, etc)
  • Currently or eligible to register with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
  • Prior experience working with kids, crisis intervention and conflict resolution, and knowledge of child development and the child welfare system
  • Proof of valid Driver's License with clean driving record, as well as valid auto insurance
