Job Summary

The Colorado Judicial Branch is seeking a highly skilled Family Court Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to families and individuals navigating the court system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage domestic case types, including Dependency and Neglect, Delinquency, Truancy, Adoption, and Relinquishment.
  • Conduct status conferences and assist parties with identifying disputed issues and options for resolution.
  • Liaise between the specialty court magistrate, court personnel, treatment providers, attorneys, and other members of the specialty team.
  • Facilitate the exchange of necessary information and prepare cases for judicial officers.
  • Assist parties and counsel in understanding court processes and policies.
  • Attend, participate, and manage subcommittees of Best Practice Court Team and other stakeholder meetings.
  • Help manage Truancy Docket and Specialty Court Youth Educational Support Services (YESS).
  • Collect and interpret data, reporting on trends and making recommendations to improve services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in social work, legal, or other related field.
  • Advanced skills and extensive knowledge of work.
Working Conditions

This is a sedentary position that requires occasional direction of helpers, assistants, seasonal employees, interns, or temporary employees. The work environment is relatively free from unpleasant conditions and/or hazards.
