Nacho Daddy is a modern Mexican restaurant that was founded in 2010 with a goal to elevate the status of nachos from appetizers to entrees. Our commitment is to provide high-quality, gourmet nachos smothered in queso and salsa made fresh daily. We cater to diverse tastes with a full vegan menu and a variety of specialty drinks, including our award-winning "Daddy's Margarita".

Position Summary

The Kitchen Manager position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring smooth kitchen operations while adhering to all health and sanitation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of opening and closing kitchen procedures, including inventory management and employee scheduling.
  • Assisting with ordering, inventory, and receiving to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensuring accurate temperature logs and completion of daily documentation.
  • Implementing new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Training new hires and collaborating with the Training & Development team to ensure comprehensive understanding of training packets.
  • Operating and maintaining a clean kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Leading and inspiring team members to improve efficiency and contribute to the company's growth.

Requirements

  • Current Food Handlers Safety Card and ServSafe certification.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and lead a team effectively.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an assistant kitchen manager or equivalent.
  • Ability to climb, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Capacity to stand for up to 10 hours, 50-55 hours per week in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment.

Job Requirements

  • Current work card/permits as required by the state.
  • 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Ability to stand for 10-12 hours.
