Key Responsibilities- System Design and Development: Analyze business needs and design revenue cycle information systems to meet organizational requirements.
- System Implementation and Maintenance: Implement and maintain revenue cycle information systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Project Management: Lead and participate in projects, managing timelines, milestones, and ensuring timely and on-budget delivery of solutions.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer questions, concerns, and enhancement requests.
- Technical Skills and Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, conventions, and regulations, and maintain technical skills in revenue cycle applications.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or 9 years of relevant experience if no bachelor's degree.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant revenue cycle experience, including systems like billing, patient accounting, scheduling, or coding.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with applications like PBAR, Siemens MedSeries 4, Cerner, Change Healthcare, nThrive, Relay Assurance Plus, Visiquate, GE Centricity, and PatientKeeper.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to conduct need-gap analysis, design system solutions, and analyze workflows to improve productivity and system efficiency.
- Project Management Experience: Experience in leading or participating in projects, managing timelines, milestones, and ensuring timely and on-budget delivery of solutions.
- Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to handle service requests, resolve problems, and communicate effectively with internal users, vendors, and peers in a professional and timely manner.
- Data Integrity and Security Management: Experience in managing system security, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining software upgrades and implementations.
- Report Generation and Analytics Skills: Ability to create and maintain both standard and custom reports, utilizing technologies like IBM Showcase, QlikView, Cerner Command Language (CCL), and Siemens MedSeries 4.
- Customer Service: Address customer questions, concerns, enhancement requests, communicate with customers, handle service problems and tickets politely and efficiently.
- Team Work and Project Management: Help team leader/manager/director to establish project goals, milestones, and procedures, work on projects throughout the organization, monitor and report on project task progress.
- Solution Design and Development: Analyze events, documentation, requirements, and needs to design and develop solutions to solve problems and/or meet organization's needs.
- Performance Improvement/Transformation/Innovation: Demonstrate an ongoing understanding of and actively participate in performance improvement activities, identify and proactively pursue business transformation, use innovation to enhance/solve current system and business workflow problems.
- Technical Skills and Industry Knowledge: Assist and participate in system activities both project and operational support-related, understand application build, design, and technical infrastructure, maintain knowledge up-to-date, is a technical resource for others.
- Reports & Analytics: Generate both standard and ad hoc reports, ability to design and assist in developing non-standard/custom reports as required.
- Training: Train new/current staff members on applicable systems/applications, responsible for working with customer and/or vendors with training on new systems being implemented and rolled out for use in the departments.
