The Front of House Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager, plays a crucial role in assisting with day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule, train, handle, and develop staff
  • Lead budget and inventory management
  • Train and supervise alcoholic beverage service
  • Assist with catering events tied to shows
  • Establish a beverage program and seasonal specials
  • Purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Manage the culinary program in conjunction with the WPC culinary and marketing team
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with staff, venue clients, and production teams
  • Work with vendors to increase positive cost results
  • Collaborate with venue house managers to achieve maximum results
  • Oversee the financial aspects of first-class bar and concession stand operations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing others, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills, self-motivation, and planning skills
  • Ability to track large inventories and budgets
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Quick grasp of priorities and a desire to lead
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of the business and market
  • Finance, loss prevention, and HR experience
  • College degree and management experience, particularly in the beverage industry
  • Certification in service training, alcohol service, safe food handling, and first aid
  • Knowledge of state and local alcohol laws
  • Certification by the National Bar & Restaurant Management Association
