Our Sales Consultants play a pivotal role in delivering tailored solutions for our clients' window and door requirements, contributing significantly to our ongoing success since 1932.
In light of our sustained growth, we are actively enhancing our Outside Sales Team. This role involves forging robust professional connections with Architects, General Contractors, and Property Owners while diligently pursuing all projects available for competitive bidding. Join us in our exciting journey of expansion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Craft and implement a strategic business plan aimed at establishing activity levels and targeting account acquisitions for the forthcoming year to meet your sales objectives.
- Enhance profit margins in proposals by leveraging our diverse product offerings, installation services, and pre-finishing capabilities into a compelling package.
- Concentrate on acquiring new accounts, building relationships with Architects, General Contractors, Construction Managers, Developers, and Property Owners.
- Vigorously pursue all projects available for competitive bids and convert quoted projects into secured business.
- Utilize trade shows, association meetings, and events organized by relevant Commercial and Trade Organizations to cultivate a network of relationships and establish a reputation within the commercial sector.
- Continuously update and apply knowledge of Pella and competitor products.
- Consistently demonstrate the highest standards of personal ethics and comply with all Gunton Corporation policies.
Reports to the Commercial Segment Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in cold calling as a method of business development.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Capability to lift and transport sales tools weighing up to 50 pounds.
- College degree.
- Experience in Outside Sales.
- Familiarity with blueprints and specifications.
- No Overnight Travel.
