Position Overview:
This role involves executing daily tasks to evaluate primary source verification of qualifications, education, training, professional references, and experience of candidates for medical staff or Allied Health membership. Responsibilities include preparing and dispatching primary source verification requests, reviewing incoming verification documents, and following up as required. Additionally, the role entails reviewing new applications to confirm completeness and entering any new data into the Credentialing Verification database. The position also includes generating re-application reports and liaising with affiliates to initiate the re-application process. Regularly, the role demands performing more intricate Credentialing Verification functions.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
  • 1 year of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Interpersonal skills essential for representing the organization in a professional and positive manner.
  • Capability to manage complex organizational arrangements, documentation, and requests from various committees and/or individuals.
  • Aptitude to organize, prioritize, execute assignments, and solve problems with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, along with effective listening skills.
