Hotel Operations Manager

NY HOTEL MANAGEMENT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Front Desk Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel front office, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maximizing hotel profitability. This role will also involve directing, implementing, and maintaining a service and management philosophy that guides staff.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the front office staff, assist the Front Office Director in developing and communicating departmental strategies and goals, and enforce policies and procedures.
- Recommend and/or initiate disciplinary actions, or other staffing/human resources-related actions in accordance with Company rules and policies.
- Ensure all staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions.
- Manage the Front Office operations for all or some of the following areas: Front Office functions, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping and Maintenance, and Foster positive employee relations.
- High School diploma or equivalent, plus one year front desk/guest service experience. Some college preferred.
- Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
- Ability to perform the following: Frequently standing up behind the desk and front office areas, Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, Handling objects, products and computer equipment, and Use a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations system.
