Job Summary

As a Rooms Operations Manager at Marriott, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of all operations in the rooms area departments, including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping. Your goal will be to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure excellent guest service and high-quality operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for cost reduction and program improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experience.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet business needs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related field.
  • Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field; 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related field.
