Quality Manager Job Description

At Precision Aviation Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing quality control programs to ensure continuous quality of product consistent with established standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and analyze statistical data to determine component specifications for quality and reliability
  • Create and maintain quality control objectives and implement inspection criteria and procedures
  • Facilitate airline audits and coordinate objectives on production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs
  • Supervise and maintain inspection and testing activity to ensure continuous improvement on material, facility, and product
  • Interpret test data on product to determine root cause of failures and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain and interpret revisions on quality control procedure manual
  • Build rapport with vendors for purchase of quality materials for company use
  • Create and direct environmental test functions
  • Design and implement quality control training programs
  • Coordinate, assist, and manage quality audit requests, investigate customer complaints, and adjust accordingly
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S) or 4 years' related experience
  • 6 years' experience working with FAA
  • Ability to work well in a self-directed or team environment
  • Proficiency in computer skills (MS Word, Office, Excel)
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend in English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime and/or weekends when needed
  • Meet physical requirements: sitting, frequently walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and balancing, reaching above shoulder level, kneeling, squatting, lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs, visual acuity, and manual dexterity
