Job Title: Help Desk Support Service Specialist

Cherokee Nation Businesses is seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Support Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers.

Job Summary:

The Help Desk Support Service Specialist will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to our customers, including troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting technical issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of computer software systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to workstations, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and standard software/applications
  • Research and analyze new business software/technology to be utilized in the work environment
  • Manage projects and meet required deadlines, presenting data to federal management
  • Train employees on new standards and procedures
  • Assist in the documentation of standard operating procedures
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 6 years of relevant work experience
  • HDI or A+ certification preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of computer software systems, including databases, office applications, and operating systems
  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills
  • High-level communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
  • Team management skills
  • Patience and understanding
